Something that I would love to see for your vlogmas is you exploring your new area! Maybe vegan restaurants, cafes or just nice spots!

Wilderness gal from northern 🇨🇦 here… I have experienced winter temperatures ranging from +5ºc to -49ºc. I have several essential pieces of winter gear/clothing that I bought over 30 years ago and they are still going strong. I’ll share a bit of info about these and also the key features that I think are critical in winter clothing. These items keep me warm, comfortable, and loving winter:

1) A big winter 3/4 length parka that I wear when temperatures drop down below -10ºc. Key features include:
- removable hood that also cinches down and is soft inside around the face/neck area.
- chunky double zipper for sitting and driving
- HUGE inside pockets that hold my toque (hat), mittens, and lip balm for when I am grocery shopping etc.

2) Toque (hat) that is lined and has ear flaps. Our ears are very sensitive to the cold and are susceptible to frost bite.

3) Mittens keep our fingers in contact with each other and are therefore much warmer than gloves.

4) Neck cowl or neck tube… is easier to manage than a scarf and it keeps the throat/neck very warm.

5) Ice cleats that strap onto your boots. These will keep you upright when it rains and the snow turns into a sheet of ice.

6) Keep extra winter clothing and a blanket (and food) in your vehicle for emergencies.

I am stoked for Vlogmas Immy!! Thank-you so much for always going the extra mile to share with us all these fun, helpful, and interesting lifestyle tips and info. I appreciate you!! 💦🌎Ⓜary⛄❄🥶

Developing a personal style is so empowering. It's been a huge self esteem boost for me to work on that recently. In addition to really focusing on things that are made well and made ethically!

I feel like thrifting can come with tis own style. It trains your mind to think less on a trend and more by fabric, color, and feel. Love all of your finds, but your grans sweater is just amazing. Same here, the thrift stores in the posh end of town just hit different!

I would love to see more house-decorating videos. Like, what do you do for bed linens and napkins and also do you have tips on decorating second hand for holidays (if you do that!). Also second-hand gifting ideas and any cozy soup or hearty food recipes! Also would be great to like, follow along on one of your hikes, I do love winter hiking and the snow is gorgeous! Maybe some snow gear tips to have a successful hike - are you wearing some small snow grips on your feet in that clip? Hope that helps.

I imagine you're still getting your kitchen together, but some of your homemade essential foods (bread, tofu, bagels, etc) shorts are amazing - I'd love more of those for vlogmas, but totally understand if your kitchen isn't ready for that yet!

I never get bored with sustainable gift guide or wrapping videos. It would be nice to see what christmas decorations and that sort of thing is in the second hand shops in Denver Thanks Immy ❤🥀

I love that you are starting to incorporate color in your wardrobe! I love the idea of a minimalist capsule wardrobe but I've never been fond of the all neutral everything. One thing that's helped me put together a cohesive wardrobe is figuring out "my colors". These are the colors I gravitate towards, that compliment me, and that I feel best in. I make an effort to seek out pieces in those colors and stick pretty close to them. It has helped me cut down on what I buy and it's so much easier to put things together in the morning and feel great in what I'm wearing.

I did not even know I needed this video. Thank you so much!! I am just starting to shop second hand online. originally I wanted to avoid online shopping, but in Germany (apart from the big cities) there are 0 to none thrift stores. There are some stores where you can donate for people that cannot afford to buy things new. So I do not want to take anything away from them…
My favorite item for autumn and winter is a long sleeved skintight top to go under *everything* 😊

So excited for vlogmas! I would love to see the sustainable places you shop at in Denver. Or any vegan Christmas themed treats.

Also, I’ve been following your journey for awhile, and it’s so amazing that you’re actually in Denver now!!! I know it wasn’t easy!!! Love your content 🎉❤️

We have the same style. Try compression socks and you can add some nice wool or fuzzy socks on top if you need. They really help with feet circulation ☺️

I feel you 100% on the fashion thing. I’m not “stylish” and had to work real hard to get my wardrobe to where it is now where I feel comfortable and look good.

If you decorate for Christmas, I’d love to see a sustainable holiday decorating video! 😍

I was recently in Denver to visit some family and got a chance to go thrifting. I was very impressed by the store we visited. Clean. Great prices. Excellent selection. Beat California by a mile. So happy you’re enjoying the Mile High City!
