I’m a happy woman and I have a happy marriage. Adore my husband of 23 years. I caused a lot of problems the first decade and have taken full responsibility for that. I keep wanting to tell women that marriage isn’t hard or unpleasant if you marry a good man and just get over yourself. 😁

Thank you for this Karen. My Mum and Dad never really argued. They were happy people and they had a very good marriage and life together.

I have had to work on myself though to finally be ok with who I am and find some peace with myself. It's been about 5 years of lots of different ways of helping and loving myself.

I look at my wife, and she is going through a tough time at the moment, her low moods, paranoia, playing the victim being strict with the kids, arguing with me about anything and everything. The list is endless.

I hope one day she can find her way out of the darkness that she is in and find some peace and happiness.

I just keep on affirming most of how you describe a wife and husband traits, as if you’re watching my own marriage. My wife and I have a 5 year old with Autism and she left. This isn’t the first time and I just wish she could have a different perspective on life but I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. She stays in a victim mindset and I know I’m a good man and I’m tired of beating myself up over it.
