Chris, your post in another forum was a game-changer for me on comfort for the AFAK!  You posted there that when wearing with shoes and not boots, in order to raise it up a bit one  "option to try is to channel your inner 80's.  Cut the top off a long sock and roll it up like an ankle sweat band as a shelf for the AFAK to sit on. Then wear a sock over it with AFAK over that. IF this makes sense."                   I had 2 pairs of old socks and cut the top 5" off.  I folded it down 4 times and sewed it together so it wouldn't come undone. FREAKING AWESOME!!!!  It raises the AFAK up my leg just about 3/4", and off of my ankle bone. No more rubbing against the tongue and heel of my shoe, either. Also it makes the AFAK less noticeable when I'm sitting as my normal sock covers the "sweatband"  sock.  JUST  BRILLIANT!!!!  My initial reaction when I put it on and then my AFAK was, I said out loud, "That's GENIUS!  Smart Guy!!!"

Glad you offer in black for EMS/Fire. We are starting to purchase vests, with increase in OD and behavior calls. But, not standard to be worn all the time. Picking one up to wear on shift.
