1. It is quite difficult to set up. Especially when you need to change the lens.
2. Replacing the battery is equally difficult.
3. There is something wrong with the rotation range. It is very easy to lose grip on the motor when the lock reaches the motor.

I took the Ronin SC Pro just for the follow focus. But I can hardly use it.

Wow, so many complaints! I just bought the Ronin SC after renting the Ronin S multiple times, all for professional work. I absolutely love the capability that DJI has given us for a very reasonable cost. The focus motor, inconjunction with Rokinon Cine DS lenses is awesome. Such smooth focus pulls! My question is, can I relocate the focus wheel to a SmallRig handle so that I can keep a good two-handed grip while pulling focus?

yikess so many cords, I bought the Pro with the focus wheel and it's been sitting in the box for months I'm going to actually attempt to assemble this Frankenstein tomorrow

I love this device but it's a huge pain in the ass to hook up. Yea agreed on the focus motor...I can't access my battery without taking this apart. This is almost unusable

I got it to work with my rokinon 24 mm T1.5 with the ZV-E10 II. Just no support for the camera record button on the gimbal.

So in that setup you made it so that you have to take the focus motor and rod off to change a camera battery. Is that how it’s supposed to work?

Is there any way to amplify or reduce (gear up or down) the rotation relation of the knob and the motor?

I own the SC with the Focus-Motor. Could I use the Motor without the gimbal as a wireless focus wheel?

What about speed of motor?? Why it's impossible to make more slowly?! I have problems with diapason from infinity to MDF. It's about 10mm by the focus ring!! And it's with rokinon 16mm t2.2. Please make some out for choosing few kinds of speeds of the focus motor (!!!) And please, I can't connect Panasonic Lumix GX80 for start/stop REC

Do you have to connect the USB cable to the camera for the focus moto to work? If so, can I use a standard USB C to USB Micro cable (Canon M50 Markii). If not, is there a DJI part number for that cable?

It would be great if you could convert the motor and wheel to wireless mode for use on other supports. Maybe a wireless module for the wheel and a v-mount battery connection for the engine. It's just an idea, but you could reuse some very good components that I've never used on the Ronin, I only have two hands and I prefer to have extra grip.

this doesn’t work for me. I have a batis 40mm f2 and the focus ring is too far back on the lens and i can’t even put the zip tie on the manual focus ring.

My focus motor stops at first end point during calibration and doesn't go full circle. Please help as it almost impossible to use focus wheel.

can i use this if my camera isnt compatible with the ronin controls. As in my camera cant interface with the ronin so can i use this to control the focus instead

How do I use SC motor as zoom instead on Alpha 3 + Tamron 28-75? The long metal tube reaches focus wheel only at the max length

Is there any point in using this is you have a focus by wire lens? I feel like the normal focus wheel on the side achieves the same amount of hunting
