I think a reason why the ores don’t delete because in Minecraft’s code, it checks for any item/block that has the name “ netherite” but they could be using a different method :)

Fun fact: Lava stops more fall damage the more source blocks there are, so it is worse than water but who knows? this could be usefull on a manhunt
