The Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment is an international flagship experiment to unlock the mysteries of neutrinos. The far detector will be the largest and most technologically advanced liquid-argon neutrino detector in the world, more than 20 times larger than existing detectors of this kind. DUNE scientist David Caratelli explains how the detectors will observe neutrinos.

Looks like the neutrinos have to be highly energetic to be detected. Although for the particular experiments this detector is for, that may be a feature rather than a bug.

Very cool! Thanks for sharing. How does this method compare with other neutrino detection experiments worldwide?

DUNE I have not of heard before however if charged are somehow produced can be picked by cathode or anode depending upon the nature of the charge.

Good luck guys, let me know what you find!

An orbiting or terrestrial neutrino detector aimed at the Moon may be able to detect neutrinos that have passed through the Moon at its eclipse.? Or even a neutrino detector suspended as a plumb bob aimed at the Earths antipode at midnight, so as to aim the detector directly at the antipode sun at midday, in order to attempt to detect neutrinos that have passed all of the way through the Earth.

They have a charge we just don't know how to test it😮

Please learn how to pronounce Argon. I had to use captions

but are neutrinos the only thing that interacts with an argon nucleus? otherwise, this proves nothing.
