This is my favourite drive pedal on bass. Great low end response. I believe there is some inherent clean pass without a dry blend control.

I think you missed the point. Dumbles are praised for guitar volume knob ability to still sound killer clean. I was waiting for you to grank gain then back off the guitar. So now it sounda like any other of the 2000 decent pedals.
