Want to hear something NOT SO FUNNY? You can't ship lithium batteries by air. At least, every lithium battery I purchased for R.C. Modeling was always labeled, "DO NOT SHIP BY AIR" . And why? Well, one 1/2 pound battery will easily bring down a commercial airliner. What makes one of these batteries go into thermal runaway. Basically, look at it the wrong way. Drop it. Overcharge it. Charge it too fast. Let the voltage go too low. Let it get too hot. Short the leads. (Oh that can't happen) Discharge it too fast.

Electric planes are cool and may have a niche in short flights but no way in hell will they replace the jet. Try flying to Australia, London, Germany or Japan from the US in an electric plane. Not going to happen. Sorry but if you think this is going to happen your not being realistic.
