A little about me:

Thank you for the cord usage advice. I just bought a color chord chart set from another entity, and he demonstrated how they sound, but I had no idea of where one might use them, or why. KOOL!

I learned new shapes from a video Sean did a few weeks ago where he focused in on the top three strings.

One way ive been learning how to integrate those shapes and chord changes is by playing through progressions i already know and have been using power chords for and i just substitute the chord shapes. for figuring out moving from the lower string, E, to the higher string, A, i just do 12 bar blues. For figuring out the minor or major variation of the shape (and how to move around) is use the Axis progression starting from the I.

the axis progression is IV - I - V - vi, named so cause of the Axis of Awesome video from 6 years ago.
