I cannot believe you have the Labrador as the number one calmest dog. You haven't met my dog Libby. She's a bull in a china shop.

Labs? Those are energetic dogs that require a LOT of exercise, and are also pretty destructive chewers as pups.

Shi tzu is an honourable mention since when they see you after an hour or so they are energetic but are easy to calm down. Just act chill and they will chill as well

Bulldogs are cool dogs, but the breed itself needs to be either changed by introducing better genetics or outlawed, they can't breed on their own without artificial insemination and C-sections. and have so many health issues it's just cruel.

I mean every dog can have hyper traits if u dont fully train them cuz ive seen border collies on tiktoks before and there dogs are always pretty calm cuz they train them

All dogs have potential to be calm or wild. It depends on if they are back of the pack, middle, or head of the pack when born.

I can kinda agree with this list expect for Golden Retriever and Labradors. Neither of those breeds is what I would classify as calm

Pugs aren’t calm…every pug I’ve come across are very hyper and wild. I even owned a pug and he was nuts and needed a lot of training.

This has to be b.s. they have the golden retriever on here. The only dogs my dogs have been attacked by-golden retriever. The dog that knocks down everyone it sees-golden retriever.

Bichons and labs are not calm dogs. They need constant attention

I call BS. I've grown up with multiple Goldens and Labs, they don't even come close to the calmness/laziness of my Basset Hounds.
