Показать описание
Short video on how to make Tandoori Roti! :)
Recipe:
Ingredients:
Wheat Flour - 1 Cup
Salt - As Per Taste
Sugar - 1/2 Tbsp
Baking Powder - 1/4 Tbsp
Baking Soda - A Pinch
Curd - 1/4 Cup
Oil - 1 Tbsp
Water - As Required
Sesame Seeds / Nigella Seeds (Kalonji) - 1 Tbsp
Coriander Leaves - 1 Tbsp Chopped
Preparation Method:
1. Into a bowl add wheat flour, salt as per taste, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and mix well.
2. Now add curd and oil and mix well.
3. Add water little by little and mix well to form a smooth dough. Cover with lid and keep it aside for atleast 2 hours
4. After 2 hours, take small portion of the dough and roll it a little.
5. Sprinkle sesame seeds / nigella seeds on top of the rolled dough along with the chopped coriander leaves and roll it into a large semi-thick Naan.
6. Then flip it to the other side and apply water and take it out and place it on Tawa with low heat.
7. Once you see bubbles forming on top, flip the Tawa for the Roti to face the heat to get the heating similar to Tandoor.
8. Once cooked, flip the Tawa back to normal and roast the bottom side of the Roti well and take it out onto a surface.
9. Brush some melted butter on top of the hot Roti and serve with any gravy/sabzi! :)
