HE really needs to be seen by a Vet for his limping foot...

Everyone commenting about his limp. I don't think u need to freak out about it, animals are very tough, and he is not displaying any typical signs of distress. Just continue to observe him, give him a place where he's safe, feed him etc and just see if he gets better or worse, then if u have the means to do so, get him some help. These birds are super cool, they can form very strong bonds with people for long periods of time and will bring gifts to people they like so you might start ending up with shiny stuff dropped at your door. When i lived in Aus there was a cockatoo who would land on my deck and eat breakfast with me every morning and scream at any birds that tried to move in on his free meals (I might have started screaming with him, my neighbours must've thought I was the biggest weirdo)

The leg is possibly an old wound.
I've found slow movements, and sitting down helps wild animals feel more comfortable with humans.
Crows are smart birds, keep giving it presents, and I'm sure it'll warm up to you.

If he comes back, observe if he is getting better or worse. He is an infant. Maybe he is just learning to walk. Birds are tough guys. If he wants help he will make it very obvious. This visit is like a "check-out the surroundings and food sources" visit. Birds don't always hatch in tip-top condition. So don't panick. Most importantly, all vets do not understand birds' problems and illnesses. You need to find a bird expert before you take him to anyone. So you need to be sure of who you take him to. I take care of injured birds at home . Birds can die if they are treated by vets who are not proficient.

Hoppy crow? WTH is hoppy? U mean happy? No this crow is certainly not happy. Or u mean a jumping hoping bird? Well this crow is walking with some injury. Nowhere hoping

As long as it can fly, it will be ok. A very young bird, perhaps a orphan. Hope the kitty doesn't get mad when he starts eating the cat food. Unsalted peanuts are always good, cat/dog kibble (preferably kitten/puppy instead of adult), cheese. Foods to avoid is anything with salt(not good for them), processed meats(salt again), bread, white rice, and anything with sugar. They can be picky, too.

Yeah he's in pain. Not sure if it's a foot or leg but he's definitely avoiding putting weight on it.

so cute 🥺 he definitely seems to be waddling funny, hopefully it heals or doesn't effect him too bad. I've been feeding crows since last spring and they still don't let me get close, they wait until I'm inside to eat!
