Today I meet with a couple of my friends to chat about he expectations vs reality of living in Thailand and what it's like to really live here. I have been living in Thailand for 3 yearsnow and living abroad for almost 7 years. Moving overseas to become a digital nomad has been the dream, but is it for everyone?

Big fan, but I would love for you to move beyond Bangkok beginner videos, and dive deeper into contemporary urban culture. You are the man to do that.

Great video. Also a fan of projectbkk. Does Mark have his own channel? Would love to hear more from his life in Thailand. Also perhaps a second follow up video idea: healthy eating options (take away or restaurants)

Hello Adam. You succeeded in Thailand, in part, because you came with no expectations or preconceived notions! Very good video once again!

The look on your face when Mark was saying how bad street food was...

Really enjoyed what Mark had to say. I love cooking my own Thai food in Sydney but the ingredients can be expensive. I hadn't really given any thought to the way dishes were prepared in Thailand, as I eat out all the time. I will give this more thought and will try and cook at home when I'm in Hua HIn.

Hey kid, I’m so proud of you! You’re heading out into the world with just a few bucks in your pocket and making it happen. Meanwhile, I’m gearing up to semi-retire and move to Thailand. I spent six months there with the military and have been back several times since. I’m loving the idea of a digital office park.

I’ve have a few rental properties and a portfolio that brings in income, so setting up an office is pretty important for me. Being secluded in a home office is miserable to me. I like your idea about using the digital office park. I do that here in the US, but didn't think about that in BKK. It’s great to have an external office space that gets you energized in the morning and puts you in a professional environment. If you want good, solid friends, keep up with your workout and fitness habits. Healthy friends hang out in healthy places. If you want drinking buddies, you go to bars. The trick is finding those healthy friends who also like to embark on the deepest levels of debauchery on the weekends! Bahahaha.

Good video, good info and seeing how people manage to work over there remotely is cool

If you used the DJI mic, it’s possible you accidentally hit the noise reduction button, which distorts the audio. The video was sill good though.

maybe I should not ask this but Mark's place looks awesome! Can you share the location? His kitchen looks so good, western style where it would be easy to cook full meals.

The guy mentioned cholesterol in his blood from eating too much street food. Would eating at small restaurants be healthier, or about the same?

Rob is an awesome dude! Very grateful I met him in Bangkok (...even if our first encounter was me staring at him like a deranged psychopath as I recognised him from YT). Great vid!
