Seeing Tyler smile after a whole year gives me life again

Tyler has three things I love.
1. He has a clue, meaning that he has his priorities right, how he goes about his music, everything.
2. he writes a narrative with his songs, his records. It’s been fun to follow Blurryface and Trench, but even vessel and Self Titled have their own little theme and story.
3. he has Pokémon figurines all over his home recording studio and didn’t bother to adjust them when doing a professional interview. That shows him being a real man right there.

I am really thankful for everything Twenty One Pilots does. They are helping with changing the mental health stigma, and showing people they aren't alone.

Somehow after loving these guys for years I've never actually heard Tyler speak normally. He talks the way that I do. Very quiet and awkward and he takes a fair amount of time to construct his sentences and these are all things that I do and am quite insecure about so seeing someone I look up to speaking the same way is cool to me.

I will never be able to explain to anyone why I love their music so much. It’s not because it’s “just good music”. It helps me get through the days where I’m trapped inside my own head. It helps me keep going when all I want to do is die. They help me understand that what I’m feeling is okay, even though nobody around me thinks so. I need them in my life and I’m so happy to have them be part of it.
