Properties of Even/ Odd Permutations - Chapter 4 - Lecture 10

In this video we begin by proving a few properties of even and odd permutations. We first prove that product of two even permutations is even, product of two odd permutations is odd and product of an even and an odd permutation is odd. We also prove that a permutation and its inverse are either both even or both odd. We also solve two other problems using these properties of even and odd permutations.

Errata (in writing): Between 2.44 and 2.45 in the video I have written m instead of n. This is typically the kind of mistake one makes in a classroom too :-)
