On this day I took over 150 lbs of meat and created a TON of freezer meals for my large family of 14! I'll take you through from the night before when I take out all the meat out of the freezer. Going through all my plans and what I end up with.

You are amazing! What teamwork with te children, too! At 75, I don't have too much prep meals. I just put small portions of raw hamburger into foil and freeze it. That way I can make a meatloaf or fry it up for anything I need. I make my meatloaf with catsup inside it, too! I make chili, spaghetti sauce, or stuffed green peppers. I used to make bigger batches, but that was 25 years ago. We divorced (not my idea), and cooking for one began. I used to love to cook, but at 70, my cooking seemed to wane. so now I sometimes eat a warm sandwich with sliced meat, cheese and condiment. I started aging with my cooking, but I can never tire of watching cooking prep. And I have just fallen in love with your family. I feel lots of love and God's presence there. It gives me a warm feeling deep inside. God bless all of you.

A little over a month ago I saw a tip where if you take parchment paper roll it up into a ball and then lay it out it won't roll up on you. It really works.

My four grandkids can eat 1 1/2 meatloaf. 6 lbs of taco meat was not enough for our last family dinner. I raised eight kids. Do you get assistance? Back then, I spent a lot on food. No assistance. Amazing prep.

You got alot of great meals for the freezer! I like you line my metal pans because I have a nickle allergy and if you put your food directly in to the unlined pan the metals can leech into your food. I have goals to switch my pans all over to glass at some point. I love your large meal preps it motivates me to want to get some meals in the freezer for my not so large family of 5. I have a magnet that is on my fridge that does all the conversions because I am to old to try to math it these days too!

I think it’s a great idea about being outside more in the winter with a camp fire and cooking. Americans don’t spend much time outside likes years in the past. We all would sleep way better after a day outside in the fresh air

A parchment paper tip I recently learned is to crumple it up in your hands first. It then behaives itself when putting on a sheet or in a pan. It sure blessed me in the kitchen.
