Just to add to the worldcup story 1987. The amount required to pay to ICC to host the worldcup was beyond imagination of the Indian government, so they reached out to our business groups and then late Dhirubhai Ambani came forward and offered the amount in one condition... The name of the tournament will be in his company's name Reliance Cup 1987.

Bcci is a co-operative society registered under Tamil Nadu co-operative act 1983. That's why there is some benefit to bcci bcz co-operative society and trust fund does not have large number of compliance compared to companies act!!!!

Bcci's policy of not allowing Indian player to play in different leagues may backfire.. As other players of different countries are playing everywhere and they are getting better some where in the skills. Old players like dravid, sachin, Zaheer played County cricket.
PS : I didn't know that indian players were allowed to play County.
