Thank you so much for your explanation. I was struggling to understand the concept since the author of my stats book doesn't explain the concept straightfoward as your video goes. You're a life saver!

The rationale here is backwards. The reason you know something is statistically significant is because p (sig. in SPSS) is less than the alpha level (usually .05). If you don’t know whether to “write” p < .05 or p > .05, then you probably don’t know whether the resultant statistic is statistically significant.

Thank you so much! Now I totally understand!

If the result is significant means r value is .161* with single asterisk and p value is
.011 then I reject the null hypothesis or not, confuse about it, kindly clear it

Hi, thank you! I have a question please: What if there is heteroskedasticity and P-value is 0.0340 for example?

If one-way ANOVA overall has P>0.05, is it possible for all the multiple comparisons tests to be "not significant"

Shouldn't it be the other way around. I mean How would I know that the results are statistically significant without comparing them to my p value 🤔 im confused
