Took my dog to the vet for 1 yr check up and rabies/booster. Vet talked me into doing a heartworm test which i didn't want (my fault) Saw ear wax stuck deep in her ears. Vet said well i'm going to do an ear swab to see if it's yeast..later come to find out it cost $48 and i didn't know that was something i was paying for. Then gives me a cleaning solution and ear drops another $60. I purchased 3 months worth of her flea & tick meds. Final total was $380 . Then tells me they don't take care credit, good thing i had a backup credit card or i couldn't have paid. The worst part was they gave me flea meds in an envelope/ blister pack. for a 50-100 pound dog. my dog is only 40 pounds. Good thing i read the small label or i might not have a dog right now. I was also supposed to book her appointment to be spayed next month but now I am for sure getting a new vet. I no longer trust her.

Spot on video. This is what happened with my cat. In January, one of my cats started throwing up anything I fed her. Went to a vet, referred by a friend. First words, he wanted to do $1500 of tests. He never asked about her food or diet. And she was throwing up. He charged me $650 to tell me that Panda was going to die. And he said it in front of my 12 year old grandson. Great bedside manner. I took my cat home. I fed her nothing but raw ground beef and a little dry food for about five weeks. She has been fine ever since. My two indoor female cats are intact and have had no vaccines.

My Chihuahua gets acid reflux that is related to stress and/ or food allergies . Homemade food has helped a lot and ears are clean now.

I am fed up with vets today. They all want to be paid like they are brain surgeons. Most of the practices in Greenville, SC are owned by corporations . The bottom line is Not pet care. Mistakes, you bet. I lost two dogs to vet mistakes. I do not trust them anymore and question, question, question them! And, I do not vaccinate like crazy like they keep pushing. I know better! Learning a lot from your channel. Learning about natural care for my dogs and cat. So far doing ok. Everybody is healthy and I treat most things myself. Just need to do a lot of research and train yourself to treat most things.

My 3 year old pit tore his ACL 2 years ago. He couldn't jump or run and hopped on 3 legs until it healed. But he has arthritis in his knee. My vet said to give him glucosamine, a good one. So I found a good one and it has helped. But then I watched your video a few weeks ago on massage for torn ACL. I've been massaging both sides several times a day since. The first time I did it. He looked at me and smiled. I felt he was saying, thank you Mommy. He started running 3 days ago. His legs are getting stronger. I feel that soon he will be jumping again. Thank you for making that video! ❤❤❤

I took my cat to the Vet in February this year. He had gone downhill over a weekend period and could not get to see the vet until Monday due to the vet being closed. He was clearly in renal failure by the Monday and had the additional issue with gum inflammation. Once seen by the vet, the vet confirmed what I already knew and said it would be best if I put the cat down that day. He had lost a mass of weight and was not having 'a good hair day' that day (the cat that is lol). However, I asked the vet if a member of his family had been diagnosed with a terminal illness, would he expect to be told to put his family member down? I then turned to the gum inflammation and asked "Do you think the inflammation of his gums could be playing a part in all of this?". I then said, how about you take care of his gum inflammation and then if he is still the same, I'll reassess his predicament in a week or so. Those magic words led to me being taught sub-Q at home (which I absolutely hated out of fear of needles myself, but did it anyhow out of love for my fur baby lol) and here we are today where he is not the fattest cat in the world (due to the CKD), but he is the most energetic, loving, smoochy cat and far more happier than he was 6 months ago. Just imagine if I followed the advice to put him down? When I didn't actually have to? And the evidence is right before me now! I have incorporated a regime of dandelion leaf tea, Omega 3 supplement, coconut oil, Cobalazorb (Vit B supplement) and Slippery Elm and VOILA ... my baby lives on .... We must remember that they are in business and the intention behind any business is to make profit. Definitely look into a holistic approach and you will not be taken for a ride. Best wishes to all of the pet parents out there and many many thanks to Dr Jones for his chosen path xx ... P.S For those who are also fearful of needles, please know that I only had to do the sub-Q fluids for approx. one week just to get my cat out of the renal failure stage (especially the dehydration aspect of it). And of course the dandelion leaf tea daily helps him by replacing the potassium he loses through urination.

Just like for me after the whole 2019 medical fiasco, I avoid the doctor at all cost... I take care of myself, drink teas and eat cruciferous foods, no soda, no pasties... this goes for my german shepherd too, I meal prep our food. She likes sauted yams, cauliflower, zucchini as long as I saute it with meat . Meal prep with 5 lbs 73% lean ground beef, 3 cups brown rice, yams, zucchini, garlic, oregano and coriander... she loves meal time. We eat less bulk to make it last because I'm on a tight budget rn. I cook at home, I never eat out anymore. Also I dont want mRNA meat from restaurants.

I questioned my Vet and she sent me a letter that I am not allowed back into the clinic. I Love your videos! Thank you so much for all this information.

I took my dog in to see the vet for a “wellness” exam. The vet wouldn’t go near my dog, not even to check his heart or check his ears. Didn’t want to clip his nails. Said I needed to sedate him first. Charged me almost $100. Took my dog to a walk-in groomer and they trimmed his nails. (best they could). He is skittish. He is a rescue and was neglected, probably abused, outdoor dog who didn’t understand English and hadn’t been trained when I rescued him within an hour of being euthanized. But, he’s never bitten anyone in the 7 yrs I have had him. I won’t take this dog (I have 4), to this vet again. Time to find a vet whose not afraid of dogs.

Thank you so much for this video. My vet actually shamed and got irritated with me for not wanting to give her a Rx medication that I knew was bad for her. He made me feel so bad about it, that I almost went against my gut and gave it to her. Thank goodness I came to my senses and just knew it wasn't the right thing to do. I found a holistic vet that I'm going to this week.

This would be a great way to expose any money grab tactics and more importantly to insure that communication between you and your veterinarian are established in order for your furry companion to receive adequate health care.

One vet (in a group of vets) said " oh you're one of those" when I was being proactive in asking questions on things being pushed on to me without explaining. None of it worked so it was a waste of money. Never saw that POS again. I'm so grateful for your channel ❤

I’m trying the Quentin for my cats Almondmeal and Pecan but talking to the vet about holistic care doubt it getting a holistic vet to much money they charge. Conventional vets are like conventional doctors they are not open to ideas. Anyhow I have learned from yourself and other holistic online vets they don’t know half the ideas but I will continue to learn here teaching others who don’t have money to pay these outrageous costs of vets.

Dear Dr Jones, the newest thing vets are doing, is if u want to change vets, the new vet will ask u if u already have a vet and will refuse u service. Wht do u think abt that??

Great advice love your videos❤️thank you.
Years ago i had a little dog with a skin problem but nothing vet prescribed didn’t seem to work. I like the vet I use he explains things doesn’t always sell you medication. One day an elderly lady said try 1 teaspoon of coconut oil every day which I did within 1 week no more scratching are skin problems then gave it to him every other day.

I have a great vet...and he listens. However, I am so happy with Dr. Jones and his natural remedies. Natural heals... chemicals don't. Blessings over all our pets in the name of Jesus.♥️🇺🇸
