The theme from from one of my all-time favourite television shows, Dad's Army.
'Who Do You Think You Are Kidding Mr. Hitler' was recorded by Bud Flanagan (1896-1968) shortly before he passed away.
With his stage and recording partner Chesney Allen (1894-1982) Flanagan were a top vaudeville and recording act throughout the early and mid 20th century.
Their most famous hit was “Underneath The Arches”.
A memory of a very funny program.
