Hi everyone, it's Tag Tuesday again and here we have The Comfort Reading Tag.
I filmed this a couple of weeks ago, which is why I keep saying we're in October! Oops. I'd love to hear your favourite comfort reads in the comments. Thanks for watching.

9. A Basket for Your Neighbour: Just as it's lovely to be comforted by books, it can be lovely to pass the comfort along. Imagining you were putting together a cozy comfort basket for your neighbour (or friend, loved one, take your pick), which book(s) would you include?

10. A Walk in the Woods: Though we'd like to stay curled up indoors with our books forever (or, at least, I would), we've got to venture into the world again sometime. A walk in the woods always helps me feel refreshed (unless I happen upon a spider or something, but let's not think about that). Tell us about a book with beautiful nature writing, or a book that restores your peace.

This was such a lovely tag!! I do so love comforting books, and I agree about The Secret Garden just fitting every category! Don't know if we've already talked about this but have your read A Little Princess? I love it just as much as The Secret Garden, if not more, and it's similarly uplifting and comforting 💛

Alice, I love this tag!! And I don’t think it’s strange that you find post-apocalyptic comforting. Connecting post-apocalyptic reads with gratitude is brilliant! Hi Alice, although lately I’ve been loving classic comfort Reads, I’m also a fan of mysteries, a big fan. I read the speckled band in high school and Have read many Sherlock Holmes mostly short stories. I’ve also collected Agatha Christie for about 40 years. I’m always up for a good mystery and I find them comforting because I get lost in them in a good way. Aloha
