At my old job, one of the managers had given me a bucket of pecan halves and told me I can keep it just make him one pecan pie. He said he was going to share the pie with the department.

I made the pie. After having a slice himself, he told me to get a slice because he wasn’t going to share it. 😂

For those of you who use the pecan recipe on the Karo syrup bottle, use half a cup less sugar than what it calls for and use a half a cup more of pecans than what it calls for.

Pecan pie is good. As a Canadian, I'd love for you guys to try homemade butter tarts, which are the Canadian cousin to pecan pie and treacle tart, and also cousin to the French-Canadian tarte au sucre.
