Hi there I am using routerOS V6.36

I’ve tried the multiple default login and password but all failing.

I am finding my Instagram lives quality is ooor and I am assuming my router needs some kind of update or firmware update to be faster ?? My iPhone WiFi settings is also set to “configure ip” - auto, “configure DNS” - auto. It’s also got a button for “renew lease” but I have no clue what that is. Someone help!?

I believe that after you download the latest OS (RouterOS) you also need to update the Firmware in the RouterBoard to match that of the RouterOS.

What about the update that you run through "System"->"RouterBOARD"
It shows you the Factory, Current, and Upgrade Firmware version. Is it important to upgrade this part?

On the official productsite of the router i want to buy they write that the router is delivered with the router os 6. But they also write that it can only use 2 of the 4GB ecc RAM if not using Router OS 7. Is this upgrade free or do i have to buy a license?
