Woman found dead in conveyor belt at O'Hare International Airport

Sources said the woman was in an area at Terminal 5 that the public cannot access—but her presence there would not be considered a security breach, because it did not take place in a high security area. Suzanne Le Mignot reports.

I'd worked at airports for nearly a decade and have witnessed people having seizures or fainting forward onto luggage conveyers. Straps and clothing get caught between the plates and they do laps. It's likely she was searching for missing luggage and something like this occurred. In a restricted but unpatrolled area she likely died and did laps for hours.

O'Hare is a nightmare! She was probably lost and tired from walking 5 miles through the terminal and laid down to get some rest.

pretty gd difficult to get killed by a luggage conveyor. its right up there with getting ran over by a zamboni. I wonder if she had some sort of neck tie/ scarf/ non-break away lanyard or her hair got caught in it. The more likely scenario is that she had a medical event and sat down on conveyance then it took off on her.

Airports have security cams everywhere. So information is definitely being withheld. They know exactly how she died.

World is so crazy right now, first thing that popped into my head is that she was trying to steal from the suitcases before owners can pick it up and accidentally died.
