How to Remove Plastic Grate from Source 1 Channel Drain

With a Source 1 trench and driveway channel drain, grate removal is a snap. Removable grates allow for easy access for debris clean out and maintenance.

Step 1: Locate slots around the edge of grate.
Step 2: Insert flat tool into slot. We recommend using a flathead screwdriver.
Step 3: Work each slot with screwdriver until grate pops away from clips.

Water can pool on driveways, reducing the functionality of the driveways and could cause flooding of the garage and/or home and freezing on sidewalks and around foundations.
