It takes both people but I think even more on the guy applying the subs, matey in the sub should have tapped but the fella applying it should have let it go, you can feel when there is pressure Tension.

Matey is laughing and feels bad for like 2 minutes then carries on training while the other lad is out of action/ work ect.

We have a saying when applying subs “ kill them with control” and to the one in the sub - if after some time you not escaped tap as it could have snapped, it’s check mate
