Kryptos – The Uncrackable CIA Code?

The CIA is home to many secrets, but there is one in particular that is hidden in plain sight on the grounds of its headquarters. Inscribed on an S shaped sculpture and sitting in the northwest corner of the courtyard is Kryptos; a puzzle which has been unsolved for over three decades. The question is, can anyone solve it?

Spelling mistakes in cyphers make them harder to decipher. That's one reason it took so long to decode one of the Zodiac Killers letters. The misspelled words also probably have some function in solving the overarching cypher as well.

Exactly North East from the Berlin clock is the Siegesäule (Tower of Victory behind the Brandenburg Gate) and East North-East of the Clock is the American Embassy.
Idk what the significance of that is but it may be a good idea to look at the tower or embassy for answers. Great vid btw

5:00 Double letters are one of the clues used to decipher scripts, so it makes sense to try to obscure double letters. For example, no English word contains xx or vv, so you know that those are not the correct choice.

The spelling mistakes are all adding or removing double letters. Double letters are huge hints for this kind of code, so removing real ones, and adding false ones makes it harder to decipher.

idk if anyone has recognised this but if you take the spelling mistakes in all the words and take the letters which are incorrect it spells out qua which sounds a lot like english

The thing about cipher #4 that immediately stands out to me is the far right indentation of only 4 characters on the first line.. it’s the only cipher with this appearance and must be a for a good reason making it a big clue?

Obviously, the compass in the 'surrounding environment' is pointing ENE. I would also try switching Q <--> L, E <--> I, & U <--> O from the misspellings. As for the Berlin Clock, if it is the first one shown, I would say the cypher would be 1x1 for the first row, 2x4 for the next two rows, 1x11 for the fourth row, and 1x4 for the fifth row. Or - which way is which clock in Berlin facing? Perhaps the one facing ENE is the one to use.
