Congrats & well done to both of you. My kiddo bought her 1st home at 21! A small 900 Sq ft home. Now 29 she's married & bought a forever home with hubby. It's more space to grow into for their future family! Millennial kids are working hard!

Girl I swear we DID THE SAME THING EXCEPT I CAN GIVE You A TIP. WE PAID 80k for our barn style cedar home bas the same thing lol it took us 9 yrs to pay off. But we lived in the basement undone one for 4 yrs lol redid the top. The guy selling wanted it off his shoulders. We have 1, 000 of acres of hollow behind us. It’s connected to our home it’s absolutely beautiful. The acres are not all ours howver the hollow just happens to be open to anyone living along the wood line. Which is a hand ful lol. But ANYTHING You DO WILL COST You IN PROPERTY TAX. WE STARTED AT 800 now pay over 3k. They will enter your property you tell them to GET TF OFF YOUR PROPERTY

Many people don't know how to save & plan like you did & they also don't believe they could do renovations themselves. Where there's a will there's a way. I have had help doing remodeling & although I'm proud of myself on what I've accomplished there's certainly times I would have liked to play the "chick card" as I refer to it & not have to lift a finger to fix something or paint anything again! 😂I'm getting old & everything hurts now! 😂
