I completed it like a 6 months ago and its one of the best cosy read i had, it might be boring for the 1st 200 pages but then it got soo good, u will like this if u enjoy mythology vibes!

I promise it is the only thing that made this a hard read for me was the size but once I got through a few chapters I thoroughly enjoyed it, although some ppl Saud it took the a while to piece things together it still is Avery cool book especially if you like mystery and fantasy. Also the Sapphic slow burm is so good in my opinion

So glad it isn't just me...

My summary thus far:
1) too many descriptions of lamps. In one bit there were like 5 descriptions over 2 pages. That's too many.

2) I saw a review saying feminist Lord of the Rings. No. It's too much court intrigue. If you're not a court intrigue person, it just isn't fun. One more description of dresses, bedlinens and court and I might lose my mind.

3) The only storyline I'm really engaged in is Loth's. That's sad and annoying in a book that features more women POV characters. But: Loth's story is very interesting as a fantasy reader, gives me Elden Ring vibes.
