John w Henry needs to spend money in January. No excuses. I am expecting 4-5 signings at least.
I saw an article stating we can spend £274 million so John w Henry needs to step up.

Back up for Salah
2 midfielders
Back up for fabinho

They will take that money and pump it into their other teams

We’re always quick to announce record revenue, yet come the summer we act like paupers.
The Jude Bellingham rumours are nonsense.
In the summer we got told we’re not signing a midfielder because we’re waiting for this guy next year.
Now they’re saying there’s a caveat in the club that the price could get too big. The lame excuses are already starting, just like they did for Sancho, Havertz and Werner.
When are fans going to wake up.
The owners and their pr clowns are treating us all like mugs and we’re letting it happen.
We don’t even have any sellable assets in the summer and we have to replace 4 players. Keita, Ox, Milner and Bobby.
We are not spending £130 million on one player.
Where is the money coming from? It certainly isn’t coming out of FSG’s pockets.
Pipe dream and especially under this ownership.

Aren’t you proud that FSG are the most financial savvy owners in Soccer.

The wise way to spend this money is to strengthen the squad now.

I really don’t like the way people talk about Jude Bellingham as if he’s the messiah. Yes, he’s good but he’s not going to solve all our impending problems. We need to strengthen across board. YNWA 😂❤

I can not get your thought process. Thank goodness, FSG is not thinking like you. Klopp is not complaining of not being backed. As far as i can hear him saying, Klopp said that they are constantly looking to improve the team and will go for any player they identified, at the right price. Liverpool's record revenue is a success of FSG's shrewdness in managing the affairs of the club. Attitudes like 'get Bellingham whatever he costs', pay Salah whatever he want' are irresponsible way of managing a business. Financial sustainability of the club is very important. And this is brought about by identifying top talents before they breakthrough and cost an arm and a leg. Liverpool should only go for Bellingham if he is reasonably priced, about 60 million pounds. He should not cost more than Haaland.

I don't get why it takes such articles and then videos for the majority of our fanbase to call the ownership and leadership out. I've been saying this for 2 seasons now. What's the point of investing so it gets us 75%/80% there?? There are no prizes for 2nd place and runners up medals. History doesn't care, but for trophies. Also, it should be accurately reported here that this is revenue, and not profit vs the 120M reported by United is their loss. I believe their revenue is still expectedly higher. We should compare apples to apples.

BUT, there's no excuse to not invest in the club. The owners are able to get away with this because the leadership is also poor. If this was the state back in 2008, these guys would've never been able to take over the club, as we would've never been able to push Hicks/Gillett out the door. Purslow and co managed to do that. Now because Klopp has worked some miracles and Edwards hit the jackpot on multiple signings, it's masked over the lack of serious and true investment for the entire last decade.

Our net spend throughout the entire decade and more has been diabolical.
