I know Pak, really banks on the Freelance IT. But please note, freelancing can never make you even a lower IT power let alone a superpower in IT. For that you need companies on the scale of TCS, Infy, Wipro etc. Then the people who work in these companies migrate to larger skills and this attracts MNCs. India is again witnessing an IT revolution because of the large opening of Global Captive centres in last few years. We can target to increase IT exports from 170 billion to 250 billion in 2-3 years. But Freelancing can only get u up from 1.5 to somewhat 3 in 5 years. For you to increase IT power, you need your big business houses to enter this field.

Great session. 
Pakistan is diverse and only discussions can give us clarity and grass root understanding of Pakistan and its issues in its truest sense. Once we achieve clarity we got to make & implement policies accordingly that not only look good on paper but deliver effectively for the prosperous future of Pakistan.

On structural reforms. One of the panelists talked about China and Property. That's very extreme. He must look into the more culturally connected India. How India reformed it's property law back in 1978.

Learn to walk before you run!
First set up capacities for import substitution before you can start exporting...
Stop all imports except for essential items like Oil. Shut down all Embassies except maybe two or three essential outside locations.
Cut down you Defense budget by 70%. Reclaim back all Military businesses and plots from retired Generals.

When the country is bankrupt and it survives on borrowed money from I.M.F, he looks back at the good old times when industries began to appear. Then the Muslim mind reaches a dead end. Jargon takes over. No hint of Pakistan army-run Criminal Enterprises. No hint of imports exceeding exports. No hint of the presence of Pakistan army state and its exorbitant defense expenditure. But, please carry on the jargon.
