Our multi-millionaire Dragons may think they're shrewd enough to spot a lucrative business opportunity when it's pitched right in front of their eyes, but they don't always get it right and, every so often, the rejects get the last laugh.

These are the Top 3 Dragons' Den rejects that went on to make millions:

00:01 - #1 Shaun Pulfrey's Tangle Teezer

11:59 - #2 James Nash’s Cup-a-Wine

Deborah.
She's so rude.
She asked him to explain what the differences between both combs.
And then she has the cheek to say I don't care what the difference is 😞

As a hairdresser, her hair is coloured, and we have about 20 tangle teezers in our salon, major L for the dragons

Deborah: *Asks what the difference is between his hairbrush and hairbrushes for horses*
Shaun: *Starts to explain the difference*
Deborah: "I don't care what the difference is I want to know it works"

Umm??

The tangle teaser really is living proof of being told you aren’t good enough to succeed and going ahead and doing it. They treated him awfully for a good idea, that has really gone far. I bet he’s laughing now 🤣 their loss

The dragons be like: so if a meteorite hits the factory tomorrow and destroys the entire stock, will your profits drop by 100%?

Tangle Teezer is now worth £200M. Deborah is still sharing her brushes with her horses.

The first one is not aggressive. He is passionate and determine about his product. It's just that the dragons take it offensively or in a negative way.

I worked with horses for years and it’s nothing like ones for horses! Deborah was just trying to be clever. I have one of his designs and it’s brilliant 🤩

they mocked the first guy for being a colourist not a hairdresser, treated him as if he didnt know how hair worked because of that fact then had the audacity to get upset when he pointed out her very clearly dyed hair

Gets “accused” of dying her hair as if it were a crime

I always love it when young entrepreneurs who get rejected always prove the dragons wrong

Tangle Teezer was an absolute revelation when I discovered it. My daughter (3 yrs old then) wouldn’t let us brush her hair until this came out. No knots, no pain wet or dry. She 18yrs old now and still only uses this first. My 6 yr old niece presently is the same. Well done to the company 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼.

As a mixed race girl with super thick, curly hair that gets tangled super easily the guy who invented the tangle teezer is literally my hero

I didn't know the Tangle Teezer was pitched on Dragons' Den. They're so rude to him. The product is fantastic. As a Dad with 2 kids, it has literally changed my life.

It was actually Duncan who said Debra’s hair was coloured, Shaun just agreed. We can all see the blonde streaks in your hair Debra… 100% coloured with highlights too! 🤣

The first entrepreneur is amazing! He wasn't afraid to pitch his idea and stand in front of the dragons. He made the best out of it and put the feedback into practice to grow his business. What a great attitude!

I hope they're embarrassed by how they treated Shaun considering he made over £20 million from these brushes 👏

No colour in Deborahs hair lol, yeah of course. She is grey as a goose without hair dye. That guy knows hair colour better than most clearly

i'm sorry but the plastic sealed wine was one of the best products I've seen!
especially at festivals
and people wanting to go for a wine in the park after work

I like the fact that when Theo goes to an airport he sees a Trunki and his daughters remind him of the potential investment he rejected. I bet at times he wishes he had invested and he'll probably live to regret it if it becomes more successful, which I'm sure it will as every parent in the country will want one of those.
