Our multi-millionaire Dragons may think they're shrewd enough to spot a lucrative business opportunity when it's pitched right in front of their eyes, but they don't always get it right and, every so often, the rejects get the last laugh.

These are the Top 3 Dragons' Den rejects that went on to make millions:

00:01 - #1 Martin Wadsworth, managing director of DiscreteHeat is in the Den seeking £150,000 in return for a 10% equity stake.

13:29 - #2 Natalie Ellis is pitching 'The Road Refresher' - a non-spill dog bowl. She's seeking £120,000 for 15%.

23:55 - #3 Shane Lake & Tony Charles are pitching 'Hungryhouse' - a website for local take-aways. They're seeking an investment of £100,000 for 11%.

An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

"It's an idea but....I won't be exploring it". That was just pure class from the radiator dude. Big Dunc finally got his match.

That radiator man was a breath of fresh air. Serious and to the point during the whole discussion, and when Duncan took the piss, he took the piss right back. Glad to see he's done well.

I loved the radioator guy. Dude was cool and composed. Assertive but not rude. Confident but not condescending. And very cheeky. Glad he is doing well.

"Well if you give me your address I'll come round" - one of the best lines in Dragon's Den history and for once, Duncan had no comeback.

Its so hilarious that Deborah doesn't think that the concept of JustEat would take off because people would rather just search for a Chinese specifically and now the entire takeaway market is dominated by JustEat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats.

Martin knew what he was doing. He didn't need investment, he needed marketing. Just appearing on the show with a competent pitch was a win for him.

I'll never forget the radiator man putting Duncan in his place, very funny. I love his frankness. I do love it when the "know it all" experts are exposed.👍

Considering how extremely risk-adverse yet demanding the Dragons are, they would have probably rejected pitches from early-era Microsoft or Apple because:
Peter would demand 100% of their other businesses
Deborah would find some hole in their patents
Touker would ask why they are not renting prime office spaces in London
Jenny would just be out

Dragon's Den Sound Engineer: We need to make sure that the foreground music is more audible than the voiceover, that's the way to do it.

I never understood why the majority of the dragons didn't go for the skirting heating system. It was a fantastic idea, he clearly knew his market, had no debts and I thought they were idiots to dismiss it like that at the time.

12:01 "No, no I don't think we could fit him and his ego in this building it's only 4, 000 square feet" 🤣 - very witty.

The women with the dog bowl idea... What a hero, love her. She didnt give up and they really bashed her up on her business... Champion

It is interesting to see how James Caan conducts himself compared to the rest of the dragons. He seems a lot less arrogant and a genuine nice person. This video is a reminder that just because you have wealth and success doesn't mean you can talk down to anyone who is brave enough to start their own business.

Duncan had a second chance with hungryhouse and messed up again. £1 million for 25% was an incredible deal as the business was bought by Just Eat for £200 million in 2018. Giving Duncan a £49 million profit.

Imagine being offered to get in on the ground floor with JustEat and saying no. This is like being one of the eleven publishers who turned down Harry Potter lol

That guy with the skirting radiators was absolutely brilliant, seems a really decent bloke and I'm made up for him making it work... His humour and calmness is amazing... God bless you sir 👏👏👏👏

"dont think we could fit Duncan and his ego in this building, its only 4000 square feet" hahaha brilliant, its a great product the skirting radiator. Very ingenious and neat idea. How no one invested in it is beyond me.

I love Peter talking about how he could set up the takeaway business himself for £100k. He'd use his 40 developers and employ 3 people to build up the contacts. Let's figure out how much he's paying these 43 people with his £100k, shall we?

What a bunch of smart arses to the radiator guy. He presented a sharp and articulate product with the exception of James
