Hey brother I just now got into your video, and I study the modern versions versus even the old versions all the way back to wyclef, but I don't know a whole lot about the perversions in the Latin volegate. Can you tell me the title of your video where you are exposing, the lives in the Latin Vulgate that you mentioned just two minutes into your video here, I don't know a whole lot about the Latin Vulgate or what it says, I have it in my PDF file but when I try to do a Google translation it doesn't give me any of the translations so I really don't know what the Latin vocate says other than what Erasmus had stated, about the word penance versus repentance, but I would like to hear your sermon on the problems with the Latin Vulgate, what is that title?

The The Textus Receptus and in turn the KJV, has added words in the text, that are not in the Word of God.
I suppose this speaker will not mention that point and may not even be aware of that.

As far as codex Sinaticus and Vaticanus, I know all about Tishendorf and Brooke falls westcott Fenton Anthony John Hort and the Fall Street manuscripts that they invented, and how they perverted all the modern scriptures, I know a lot about the modern versions and even compare the Geneva the King James the Coverdale the great Bible the Bishop's Bible the Tyndale Bible in the whitecliff Bible, I've done a lot of comparisons I have each one of these Bibles in my PDF file, but like I said the Latin folgate is alien to me as far as what it says and the problems that are in thereof

In short, these two codices are old simply because, first, they were written on extremely expensive and durable antelope skins, and secondly, they were so full of errors, alterations, and deletions, that they were never used by true believers and seldom even by their own custodians. Thus they had little chance of wearing away." John Burgon on Sinaiticus and Vaticanus Bing search

Hope you and your families are safe in the wake of Helene! Very interesting video about the codices. Definitely makes me want to look more into them, though for difficult verses I generally look up the greek and multiple versions anyway.

You talked about how the Epistle of Barnabas is heretical because of its fallacies, which I agree with. But to say that shows baptism isn't a part of salvation?

Jesus tells Nicodemus unless one is born again of the water and the Spirit they cannot enter the kingdom of God (John 3:5). You say the great commission says baptism comes after salvation but that seems like an interpolation at best, when it says he who believes AND is baptized will (then) be saved (Mark 16:16). The major problem people have with this verse is they separate the act of baptism from belief. But baptism is belief. It's not a work. We don't earn salvation, but we do accept it, by believing and being baptized. It can't be thrust upon us. Look up the works of faith. Is baptism ever among those works? I don't think so.

Around 11:13 you say rightly the gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ (plainly). But you almost inject belief as a part of the gospel. No one should say baptism or belief is a part of the gospel. Belief and baptism is OBEYING the gospel (2 Thes 1:8-9). Paul didn't baptize so he wouldn't cause division (1 Cor 1:15). But Paul never, or hardly, traveled by himself. He preached. Titus, Timothy, Silvanus, Luke, Tychicus, Aristarchus, John Mark, and Barnabas (to name a few) would've been baptizing, or local elders and deacons, so no one would divide Christ by saying "I am of Paul, he baptized me in his name."

Mark 16:16 should be plain enough but Peter also plainly says in 1 Peter 3:21 baptism now saves.

Only the blood of Christ is required to wash away our sins but it is when we believe and are baptized that we come into contact with the blood of Christ. Romans 6:3-4 "Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." Without baptism there is no death of sin.
