The Codex Sinaiticus is a mid 4th Century Greek manuscript. That has most of the Bible. It contains the New Testament. And the Septuagint, a Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible.

The alleged providence of this text would leave one to think of it as the trashcan bible given it was alleged to have been partially burned by priests who thought so highly if it they were starting fires.
Which among so many other issues leave it to be in question.
The material used would have been precious and valuable even in bare form and I will never believe that the priests/monks would have used such valuable material so senselessly. It's allegedly finded more likely stole the first section which looks very different than what later was acquired. David Daniels at chick tracts has alot of good info on this as well as Chris Pinto's 3 documentaries which can be awatched free on YouTube. Search his name and documentary and you should find them easily.

That is not true. The Siniatucus is a forgery written about 1845.
