I've been reading One Piece for a while now, but it really only just sank in how epic this scene was.

Luffy has a knack for throwing together makeshift alliances and leading them to victory (Skypeia, Enies Lobby, Impel Down, Dressrosa, Zou/WCI/Wano), but they all usually tend to befit his "rookie" pirate status - for the most part it's just groups of outcasts, other small time outlaws, or the oppressed.

But for a brief moment in time, Luffy led the ENTIRE Whitebeard Empire. Full of New World pirates as well as the crew of straight up the strongest pirate in the world. All that firepower, led by our boy. Like bruh

Man, Whitebeard definitely realized that Luffy in fact has Roger's Will after that Conquers Haki. Although Luffy can't even beat an Admiral and definitely a Fleet Admiral, he somehow got through and saved Ace. That was respect, and Whitebeard definitely acknowledged it. That's probably why Mihawk acknowledged Luffy when Luffy was able to get pass him. He probably saw Roger at some point in time fighting in War and saw all these strong allies helping him out lol

When you really think about it. Luffy did the craziest stuff in this War. The Only ones keeping up with him were Marco and Whitebeard.
