I don't own an Intel CPU nor do I stream but your content is always so interesting and well thought out for actual gamers that I can't help but watch.

Do you have a video of this testing 5900x or 5950x or 5800x3d?

As always, the only confusing thing to see is the stupidly low subscriber count considering this is hands down the most comprehensive and accurate channel in terms of gaming performance for a given piece of high-end hardware on all of YouTube lol…

Well said man, well said. I wish we had a massive cache instead of these Ecore.

Where did you find a performance hit with e cores on in games? I’ve got a 12900KS (unlocked all power limits) and a 3090 Ti FE and I’ve not seen any fps difference. I’m gaming at 3840x1600 (ultra wide).

That is awesome. Please please please test the 13600K and add it to your spreadsheet. It has 12900K's E-cores, only 6 P-cores, but is the right price for most people tbh :D
If it can be used for streaming as a beginner it would be awesome

So, what I learned is, disable e-cores and the p-cores can use the entire cache? Essentially giving the P-cores more cache? Is that correct?

Did you test Hitman 3 with E-cores On vs Off? That game has been optimized to take advantage of E-cores. I think we will see more games like this in the future especially when Intel will be firmly established in the dGPU space as well.

how would the Ryzen 9 5950x compare with streaming on a single pc?

Setting CPU affinity is easy with the right software. Simply use process Lasso

So how would you configure the cores on a 13900k for streaming at 1080p/1440p/4k on a single pc (warzone + rtx4090).

I never used the Windows CPU affinity option from Task Manager on my i7-12700K (i'm using Windows 11).

Even tho you locked x264 to ecores its loading up the p cores that aren't loaded when you're not using the CPU to stream.

So, the right way to do it is to go process lasso choose obs on E-cores and game on all cores ? Or should i split the cores ?

Quick Sync is not that bad: it looks bad on the video on high motion but it shouldn't.. something wrong went on... my 12700k puts up pretty good twitch output with QS and LA-CBR in OBS at 6000 or 7000 Kbit/s.

did you ever make that video about using dual gpu elgato setup?

Its insane that the 4090 makes this video obsolete

Love the video topic here but I can't help but notice that in this shot: (5:37) you are closer to that box in the NVENC scene than in the X264 medium scene. This could produce some better quality results for NVENC. I do agree that it did look better overall for NVENC tho. Just thought it worth mentioning
