What a respectable man! Who wouldn’t fall in love with young tall, handsome navy officer in uniform with humor? His lifelong faithful to queen and dedication to country he served well for 74 years is unprecedented. Unfortunately, none of his children took after him with his good looks and his Royal manners. RIP I see some people saying it's difficult to morn Phillip's death. My own father lived a very full life, I know he'd accomplished everything in his life that he set out to do. Still losing him in his eighties was tough, a huge loss for those of us that loved him. I felt that the people that people that made comments to me after his death about him having lived to a ripe old age, his having had a long life, saying it was his time to go, etc.. really didn't understand that much of his family wasn't ready for him to go and neither was he. I'm sure that many member's of Phillip's family probably were not ready to see him go even at 99, despite his having once said he didn't want to live to be 100. I don't think a person being born into wealth and success in life negates their human value in any way. It appears that Phillip served his country well, devoted the majority of his life to Queen and country not retiring until he was 95. RIP Phillip and my condolences to his family and his country.
