In a time of coming out of the grunge rock era, being inundated with boy bands and Disney pop star musicians, it was so refreshing to hear LP and 'One Step Closer' enter the music scene. Like, where has this been the past few 90's era years? This was what I had been waiting for. LP's music was groundbreaking and so badly needed. Thanks LP!! Your music will live on eternally.

Still have the CD I bought in 2001, i distinctly remember buying Hybrid Theory as well as Queens Its a Kind of Magic as I loved Highlander.
I can't remember how i heard of linkin park but probably via Kerrang Magazine, it just spiralled from there, im luckily I saw them, only once thouh in Newcastle-upon-Tyne for their Thousand Sun's tour, just wish I'd been able to go to more.
The thing with new metal and r9ck is I found them myself, no one else introduced me as all my friends wrre listening to dance music and rave.
I pretty much have all their catalogue now and hopefully my daughter will find them when she's older
