Great review! Out here in California we throw our sled on a deer cart when going over dry land. Then we ditch the cart and float the sled when we get to the pond. Most of these sleds fit directly inside of a deer cart. Definitely helps extend the life of the sled.

I can't imagine not having my sled. I can drag way more stuff then I can physically carry and does allow me to travel longer distances into the swamps and marshes. I also have a 10' jon boat that I use on a swampy area my son owns. No motor and I row it. My sled is tied to the back and really makes the experience much more enjoyable. I also use bungy cords and learned to pack things in such a manner as to not make it front heavy.... Great job Jake.... I also tip it over and sit on it depending on the circumstances..

I got a cover for my JetSled, and it’s been super nice because it will let me put more stuff in the sled and not worry about it falling out if I go over uneven ground.

Great video. Thinking about maybe doin some coating on the bottom of the sled to drag easier on the ground. Gonna have to look into it. Use a sled every hunt also, big time game changer. If I’m walking on levees I’ll use my deer cart with the sled until I hit water then ditch the cart

I made a kayak cart from 20” hard wheels and you can strap a sled to it over ground. It just has to be balanced right and use two ratchet straps.

I have a Shappell XL and have the problem of overloading it every time I use it. It is huge so it looks empty with only 12 decoys, 3 guns, and a backpack; so we throw in more gear. Next thing you know the sled weights more than the person dragging it and would take a whole sled team of black labs just to get it to the water.

I put some gator glide on the bottom left over from when I did my boat made a big difference on dry ground
