Duck hunting gear gets big and heavy fast! It is important to find a way to transport your waterfowl hunting gear into the woods that does not wear you out. One person can only carry so much, especially if you have to go far. And the more decoys you accumulate, the harder it is to cover distance with them. Multiple People – Duck hunting is a team sport, and two or three people can make carrying gear in much more manageable. At least until you get too much gear.

Sled – A jet sled is one of the easiest ways to get more duck gear into the woods with less work. One person can pull way more decoys and equipment than they can carry. And the worse the weather gets the easier it is to pull a sled. And the sled floats.

Better Bag – You won’t reduce the weight of your decoys and gear but a better bag can make things much more manageable for carrying short distances. It can keep your gear in better shape to.

Cart – A big wheeled cart can work great for getting your waterfowl gear to the hunting blind, especially for goose hunting in big fields. But it will only work well on flat level surfaces. So the application is limited.

Boat – Whether it is a kayak, canoe, fishing boat, or inflatable boat, getting on the water is maybe the easiest way to move your gear a long distance.
