Channing’s accent is actually spot on. He grew up idolizing Gambit and has wanted to play him in a movie for like 20 years now.

One of the sweetest things I've learned about the production is that Rob Delaney, who plays Peter, was in Deadpool 2. He had a 2 year old son that was going through treatment for a brain tumor. He sadly passed during the production of Deadpool 2.

Ryan gave Peter a larger role in this film and gave him a moment that he's respected by all Deadpools of every universe. Rob asked Ryan why is this scene in the film. Ryan said so when his other 3 children grow up and see this film they know their father is a true hero to Deadpool.

There's a special dedication in the credits For Henry Delaney.

This movie was a nod and homage to the Fox Marvel Universe. All the cameos came from the time before the MCU. As the characters that Fox owned find their way into the MCU, I thought it was a nice send off to acknowledge the Fox cast that got us here.

Watching Natalie be clueless about the Blade cameo was more shocking than Blade showing up in the movie was a huge moment in theatres. Time to watch the Blade Trilogy Natalie 😉

There were cheers at my cinema showing for Wesley Snipes's entry. His film BLADE (1998) (whose title role he is playing here) single-handedly saved Marvel from bankruptcy and paved the way for all of the Marvel movies that came afterwards in more ways than one (including X-MEN, SPIDER-MAN, FANTASTIC FOUR, and the MCU). BLADE is both a thematically perfect fit for Natmares season and one of my all-time personal favorite action movies. A heavily recommended priority watch.

"Knock it off"?! We DP and Wolvie fans of over 25 years strongly object! Been waiting FOREVER to see them fight each other on-screen. This is a thing in the comics, and we nerds needed this. Had our special sock handy and everything. Their fights are easy highlights of the movie.

this movie was 100% a love letter and sendoff to the Fox superhero universe, so its understandable to miss most of the jokes and characters unless you've been watching these movies for the last 25/30 years.

I love how everyone says Channings accent was bad, but it’s actually super accurate to real Cajuns. They actually have to downplay it in media to make it sound legible and not cartoonish

Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy (the director) got Jennifer Garner on-board to appear as Elektra on the set of The Adam Project in order for her to say goodbye to the character.
One of my favorite jokes in the movie is Deadpool telling Elektra that he's sorry for Daredevil's death and her immediately saying "It's fine" as a nod to her divorce from Ben Affleck.
Seriously if you haven't watched Daredevil (2003) you definitely should. I find it both cool and unintentionally hilarious.
Edit: As the people in the replies have pointed out, if you react to Daredevil (2003) try to find the Director's Cut because it's superior
