You know, I'm trying to get back to being what I was. A WORSHIPER. Struggles, failures and sins have kept me from God, but even though I am a failure and a sinner, God has not given up on me. It is for Him that I want to return, it is for the love that I feel for Him, I ONLY LOVE, and when I heard this ministry I remembered the promises of God, I remember that I am chosen and I want and I will return to be a servant of God

I knew a man named Emmanuel: we were coworkers who after a period of time ended up falling for one another. But the both of us weren’t at the right place spiritually, emotionally to be together. It was a difficult and painful and confusing relationship for the both of us. Even saying his name ushered in pain for me. I’ve been praying for his return to Jesus ever since I started to know him (about a year and a half or so) and tonight as I sat listening to both Abbie and the crowd sing the word “Emmanuel” over and over, I felt like God whispered to my soul “this is what I’m singing over Him.” I got this image of all of heaven calling out his name in prayer and worship and I was reminded of the scripture of the shepherd who goes after the one lost sheep.

I’m not sure why I’m sharing this but I hope it encourages you to keep praying and interceding for those in your life. He pursues the lost sheep until he finds it. He doesn’t give up his search, it’s we who give up...both on ourselves and on others. But to Jesus, each person is his personal creation and they matter so much more than we’ll ever comprehend fully on earth.

We, the Church matter to Him.
The ones we love who are lost matter to Him.

What he said hits home for me... I can love him but the acceptance of when he starts to love on me.. it’s so hard to accept that God would love me after everything I’ve done to disappoint him. After seeing my heart truly, he still loves me. I’ve been so depressed since this whole pandemic started. This video gives me encouragement, it’s like one of my daily affirmations!!
