This is what I’ve been searching for. A cleaning routine that isn’t overwhelming and comes with grace and mercy! I’m a working mom 5 days of the week and my husband and I work opposite hours as one another. Sometimes I’m like a single mom to our two kiddos because of this. Our house cleaner had to stop for awhile so I’m trying to find the easiest way to be able to keep up with cleaning and working and momming and all the things. Thanks for sharing!

I do one deep clean job a week. Maybe the oven, inside fridge or food cupboards, inside bins etc.

I totally agree that a weekly cleaning schedule can be stretched to take two weeks ! It depends upon how many children there are in the house dropping food and/or toys, etc., vs having a house with only two retired people in it .

I’m not a mom, but I’m a teacher so I’m pretty busy! Thanks for this helpful video. I’ve been really ignoring cleaning my house and I’m constantly stressed about it. Using my Winter break as a time to reset, get clean and start a new cleaning routine that works for me. 😊

This seems very straight forward when you lay out the bones of the schedule. I've been trying to bring structure in my life and one of the hardest things to do is figure out the bones of the system to make it customizable for myself. It took me ages to figure out the structure that you just laid out so neatly, lol. Great work and ill6be watching your other channels.

I get my groceries delivered!
The daily tasks of wiping counters toilets sweeping tidying dishes garbage and then the chore of “ the day “
It’s a lot of work but at least more manageable by the end of the week

Thanks for your schedule. I still have problems keeping up my house. Shopping also exhausts me, my husband takes this chore, he loves looking for deals, , so it works for us!

I think the most important part of cleaning is doing what works for you. I feel like cleaning is a never ending ending chore when I do it multiple days a week. However, I know people who clean one room a week, and it works out great for them. I like the way you encourage people to scrap plans that aren’t working for them. There really isn’t a right or wrong schedule, so it is nice that you pointed that out. Also, WHO said to clean windows every week? Where I live, it is done a few times a year! I am not opening my windows and cleaning then when it is 20 degrees outside and snowing! Lol.

This was by far the best and most practical cleaning schedule advice I have ever had you’re the best 🥰

You make a lot of sense, thank you for sharing this! Definitely checking out your laundry routine. I agreed with so much you said. We have three levels and each can go different lengths of time before vacuuming. The middle floor is no less than weekly, top floor no less than monthly, but the finished basement is good to sit pretty at as-needed vacuuming. It would be a waste to vacuum every floor every week just because, who has time for that!! Thanks again!

These are all great tips! I especially like the idea of not cleaning all in one day. You're right!

1) If you do everything all in one day, you're probably going to get burnt out or not get started at all because you know it's going to take so long.

2) I didn't even think of this part. If you do everything once a week, your home is going to start to look messy by day 4 or 5

Your routine is wonderful. The simpler it is, the more likely it is to get it done. I especially love your weekend focus on family, social activities and getting rested and refreshed. Another way to clean might be to focus on one area a day and do just what really needs to be done in that area (i.e. Monday-bedrooms, Tuesday-bathrooms, Wednesday-kitchen and Thursday-living areas. Friday can be shopping, errands and bill paying. This, combined with a daily routine that includes keeping the clutter at bay and doing laundry might work well for some.

this is so simple and makes so much sense! Often times, I find other ways of doing routines very complicated. This is great!!!
Can't wait to try out this method for my weekly chores.

Thanks so much. Wow really you had the time to be clear with each point and have clear expectations!! I will try this week and see what happens!

In my experience, it’s not really the size of the house that’s an issue, but the foot traffic.
I love that you put the half bath cleaning twice.
