2025 Toyota Camry SE vs the Camry LE :All Specs &Test Drive

The 2025 Camry gets a full refresh with it's fifth generation hybrid engine that increase 17 hp for the fwd and 24 hp for the awd over the 2024 Hybrid Camry. The New Camry will only option a ECVT and hybrid trim with updated tech and safety. Outside gains almost 1-inch in length with a blend of the Crown and Prius frontend with the SE / XSE Camry getting the sporty exterior styling. Inside will take for the Lexus ex and Toyota Crown to gave a upscale yet sporty dashboard layout and increase from a 7-inch standard touchscreen to a 8-inch with the se ability to gain the 12.3-inch touchscreen.

I bought my 2025 SE first week of June, looks exactly the same as the red one in this video minus I didn't get the sunroof or convenience package. I have 4k on the odo now and love it. Did tons of market research as this was my first new car and I needed the mpg. Drove this and a 24 accord side by side and the camry blows the accord out of the water every time from mpg, price, style, etc. Toyota did an amazing job with this car.

I can never understand why people would choose to have a larger wheel for more money while missing out on the softer ride and better mpg.

I had 225 hp in my 93 Mustang GT V8, I think that’s pretty amazing you can get 51 mpg with that. 👍🏼

50 mpg in a full size sedan that does not share the aerodynamics of the Prius sold me. We are picking up the LE in Silver next week. The LE has everything you need including blind spot monitoring (optional on LE) and backup warning. Those two features are a must.

I wanted the Prius as my next car but didn’t enjoy the visibility and tight headroom in the backseat when I test drove it. I’m glad I waited for the new Camry as it’s roomier and I just need the LE so I’ll get close to the Prius’ mileage.

I recently purchased the SE, and it feels incredible. Initially, I had a 2020 Toyota Corolla, which I absolutely detested compared to my 2015 Camry. It took an eternity to accelerate, and cars would often overtake me at red lights, circling me. Additionally, it would often start slowly when making turns. The radio was terrible, so I had to spend an extra $1, 000 on a better one for long trips.
In contrast, the 2025 SE eliminates all these issues. The power in this car is amazing, and it’s incredibly quiet in electric mode. I genuinely enjoy driving it, which is a feeling I haven’t experienced in a long time.

Just bought a 2025 Camry SE last week all black with moonroof and upgraded 12.3 multimedia screen and convenience package, the car is fully loaded and I only paid the base price $30, 538 . Did not pay for the upgrades or did not pay any dealer aftermarket fees so far I am loving this car.

If there is not a drive shaft going to the rear wheels, why did they include a channel going through the back seat floor? Seems like they could have made that flatter.

In Canada, i cannot find the LE option on Toyotas website. May be they just don't have it.

LE or XLE for me. SE looks nice, but for a Camry 'sport tuned' ride doesn't make sense.

I test drove the 8 speed and it constantly was shifting. The eCVt is built like a tank. We own two 2021 Rav 4 Primes and loved them so much for their build quality our son purchased the 2025 Camry with the same setup 2.5 liter naturally aspirated engine and eCVT. I plan to go 250, 000 miles on this setup.

Is the catalytic converter exposed on the 2025 Camry Hybrid? I prefer Honda hybrid because the cat is hidden under the bonnet.
