005: Room Tour

My room as it looks today.

The song is a personal cover "Place de la Republic" by Coeur de Pirate :)

Behind-the-scenes stuff:
What I really wanted to do was show what my room actually looks like on a daily basis, super messy, and what I look like when I'm usually inhabiting it, super messy, but then also what it looks like when it's also super nice and clean and I'm wearing real pants.
PLUS, I used darker blue/green colouration at the beginning for the messy side, and then cheery pink/purple colouration for the second clean side of the video. IT'S ALL IN THE DETAILS.

Finally! Thank you for being one of the first on yotuube to post an HONEST room tour video. I always roll my eyes when people say they're usually messy and then show a room that looks like it's out of the pages of a magazine.

Keep doing you. Please stay real. Its so refreshing to see a room tour that starts with a messy room that becomes clean. It is so much more authentic-- so much more relatable-- than the other room tours I've seen. It serves as a friendly reminder that what we see on YouTube is not always the truth, that sometimes what we don't see is a mess behind the camera.
