I was sent a phishing link via text message under the guise of PayPal. I saw this text when I first woke up, so I panicked and opened the link thinking that my PayPal has been compromised. The website that it brought me to said that the site can’t be found, and I quickly closed the page when I realized my mistake. I disconnected from the internet afterwards. I have an iPhone that is up to date, so I don’t think any malware was downloaded. I hope not

Okay so I was on a YouTube video yesterday and I accidentally clicked on a really suspicious looking link but I backed out of it before it could fully load in. I also checked all of my apps and downloads and nothing suspicious was there.(I'm on android by the way) I just want to know if I'm safe. Could somebody please let me know?

Hi! I just recently clicked on a link because it said it could take me to the new episode of The Owl House and then I clicked on it and got a pop up (from that site) saying “ you are being hacked, take action immediately.” So I quickly exited the site turned off safari and restarted my iPad. Please tell me if it’s okay now or not because I have no idea if it was just a troll or not.
Edit: (Don’t worry, it’s fine now, someone tried to track me, but it’s gone now :)
Also if this happens to you as soon as you get the pop up, restart your device and change your password! Hope this helps

Hi one of my mates Facebook account got hacked and they sent me a link I clicked on it then I was notified that he was hacked leading me to panic reset all my passwords and leading me to this video thumbs up. Hopefully I don’t have a virus.

I had received an email (from ihop) about a password reset and my dumb ass clicked the link to reset my password. I gave it a random password not linked to any other account i use. after if changed it seemed to load the legit website. am i okay?

This happened to me with my Apple ID. The pop up making me sign in kept appearing. Just keep tapping on “not now” and wait for a while then it will be gone.

Hello! So I opened up a fake microsoft warning email on Outlook and I did click on a link but it only created a draft for me to send an email to the sender.
I didnt type anything down and I deleted the draft, it didnt take me to any other website and I don’t believe it downloaded anything (?)

i opened a link one of my friends sent me via dms and the site was some type of gift thing or whatever. i won something LMAOO but i didn't put any personal info in there or anything. my friend later texted me to not open any links she sends me because she has a virus on her phone. i removed permissions from google immediately, did a security scan, reported the link, reset my phone and im downloading a security update for my phone. will i be okay? everything seems normal for now.
