at 7:35 you don't need to cut string for thinner lines, (if you cut it for thin lines it gets strung on main line) just take the loop through the hook's loop and over the sharp tip of the hook and back. Then pull it to lock it on the circlet of the hook. I've been using the video to make 2 hook lines without cutting string and its very good for non clumpy fishing. its great for fast fishing where you don't need to untangle the sub line to main line.
