When you've built something from the ground up, watched it grow under your leadership, and gotten your own hands dirty doing work and making progress, "working" hits different. And when you make your employees feel like they truly are a part of something special, they're contributing directly to the growth, and they're compensated well for doing so, it hits different for them too.
