Word of advice, mark your vehicles with your organization name and don’t leave them unattended. Our security team can’t tell the volunteers and feds from the looters, and neither can granny with her shotgun. Identify yourself clearly because we’re all tired and nervous. Between fema pissing everyone off, feds surveillance on our security teams and unmarked SBI cars we’ve about had enough. Please be well marked and stay with your vehicles.

Thank you my friend, my brother. I'm a not so healthy 65 yr old vet. If I came there to try to help you would just have another sick person in the way. I pray for all my friends and fellow Appalachians every day. I was able to send food, water and funds for more water. The funds were donated by a old sick dying Nam vet. We were able to do this in Cookeville and have it sent to Newport. Be safe. Rest.
